oscar images in diamond

Hi,

I saw the start of the oscar ceremony where images were shown inside different cut diamonds with different densities in the stone where de cut faces of the diamond were. Does anybody know how to do such a thing?

I'm not sure if they create the same effect, but have a look at Lens Pro at www.panopticum.com
