At 25? Doubt it, or are you loooking for a cheap solution in wage terms, as this seems to be the norm today. But prove me wrong.

were used, and yes Adobe Certified, MM certified and doesnt work cheap.

I wish I could meet any of those requirements. Since I'm really into graphics. *sigh*

I'm thinking of becoming a graphic artist, btw. But all I have at the moment is Photoshop.

Ya, "style". I have been outputting files of recent grads in the London area over the past 2-3 weeks for a show being put on here, and I can tell you that their "style" is a mess. Fonts missing, linked photos missing, 4 colour blacks, etc. This "style" of which you speak must be "Muddled Messes Done In A Huge Rush To Drive Prepress People To Drink"... I could be wrong, but I don't think so. I have a feeling they were originally looking for the "cheap" way to get a designer.

Good Luck with that. I hope you can get your hands on some real programs. Stay away from Corel Draw, Publisher (if you want to be a desktop publisher, then, fine, use them), and only venture to use InDesign if you MUST. Print shops have yet to really embrace it, and Quark 6 is set to launch soon.

If you can get your hands on Illustrator and Quark to go with Photoshop, then you will have a good start for design/print and from there you can start to play with web apps. Just be sure to remember that a good designer double checks their own work just to make it easier for the person who has to produce their work.

I suggest that you have make an advertisement for it. Now if you already have that advertisement its not hard for you to find out anymore. And if somebody saw it they would go through your office just to apply for the position that you are looking for. That's it.
