Compatibility

LayerShop works under Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP (32-bit & 64-bit).

It requires the following application to be installed:

• Adobe Photoshop (Version CS3, CC to 2024)
• Adobe Photoshop Elements (Version 11 to 2024)

All menu items and most dialogs of LayerShop are localized to the language of Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. The options of the LayerShop Preferences dialog and some messages are only displayed in English or German.

Most LayerShop features only work with 8-bit images in Photoshop Elements, because they require layer support, which is not available for 16-bit images in Photoshop Elements. In Photoshop the same features also work with images with 16-bit per channel.
