1. Open an image in Photoshop (Elements).
2. Choose Layer > New Fill Layer > Edge & Frame Galaxy from the menu.
3. Adjust the settings on the Edge & Frame Galaxy and click the OK button.
4. Go to Layer > Layer Style > Style Settings (or in newer versions of Photoshop: Layer > Layer Style > Blend Options).
5. On the appearing Style Settings dialogs can edit already activated effect(s) as well as add new effects that are not available on the Edge & Frame Galaxy dialog. In Photoshop Elements you have more options here, if you have our LayersXXL plugin installed.
1. Open an image in Photoshop (Elements).
2. Choose Layer > New Fill Layer > Edge & Frame Galaxy from the menu.
3. Adjust the settings on the Edge & Frame Galaxy and click the OK button.
4. Run Edge & Frame Galaxy again from Layer > New Fill Layer > Edge & Frame Galaxy.
5. Open a different edge file with the Open button. Now a second edge is laid on top of the old one. Use the Opacity slider to make the current edge less visible. Then adjust the settings and click the OK button.
6. You can repeat again if you like.
7. Now you scan see two or more fill layers with edge effects in the Layers panel. You can readjust the opacity of these layers and even change the blend mode for more special effects.You can also adjust the style settings of each fill layer by double clicking the fx icon. Changing the layer order also changes the look. Double click the thumbnail in the Layers panel to change the settings of the individual fill layers.
