With our new update are the new additions supposed to be colored as before and the actions and script shown near the open tab on the top tool bar?

Yes, the menu items, icons and buttons of ElementsXXL are all colored blue by default. There should be Scripts, Actions and Render button at the left of the Open button.

I have installed the new 2.01 twice and there are no blue additions or tabs on the menu bar with the open tab..

Please go to File > Automation Tools and click on the ElementsXXL menu item. If it is not there, it was not installed correctly. If it is there, activate the "Colorize Icons & Menu Items" check box. You should then see the new items colorized.
