Cannot set up plugin panel on CS4

Post by rwalling »

I am running Windows 7, 32 bit. I cannot get the version 1.02 plugin panel to set up on CS4. Attempts to do so causes CS4 to crash. I downloaded the plugin site version 1.02 mxp file and followed your instructions. Attempts to use it cause CS4 to crash.
The old version 1.01 worked with no problems.
I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the panel to no avail.

When does the crash occur? When you press on the Run button on the panel? Are your panel displayed collapsed or expanded. Actually 1.02 avoids a crash problem when the panels are collapsed.

Are you sure that you have 1.02 installed? Does the panel menu have an "About" and "Visit The Plugin Site" menu items?

Attempts to open the panel caused the crash. I never saw the logo, nor was I able to see the panel details. I have reverted to the previous version.

I tried installing the version 1.02 again. When I clicked on Windos/Extensions/The Plugin Site, CS4 crashed with a system message stating that Photoshop had encountered a problem and had to close. For whatever reason Ver 1.02 will not run on my system. (Widoes 7 - 32 bit)
