LANCE OTIS' Mosaic Toolkit...Uncompatible with Vista???

Post by Karenality »

How can we get some of these filters to work with Windows Vista???

I really hate this o/s but I am stuck with it for now.

Sometimes when I run these filters on my Corel PSP it says, "Paint Shop Pro has stopped working and will close now".

Grrr!!!!

Any help or advice would be appreciated!
I have all required dlls installed in my Windows System 32 folder!

I just uploaded patched versions of the plugins which will work with Vista. Just download the same files again. Thanks for the reminder!

You can make FM plugins Vista-compatible yourself with the following tool:

I am having a similar problem with two other plug ins, too...Name Supreesed's Plaid Lite and Mezzoforce (and both of those are paid for!)
Grrr...
NS told me to disable my DEP feature and put my graphics program on the "exclusion" list.
So I did that but I haven't noticed a change yet.
*sigh*
They told me I could still have older filters "hidden" somewhere on my pc from "them" and that I had to delete all of my "old" filters and redownload their newest ones and it should correct itself.

My Grandma always said, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Why does Microsoft always feel the need to try to "fix" Windows with "newer versions" of their O/S that become incompatible with our programs???

Why can't they leave well enough alone?
They're just making more work for the small software developers to try to "keep up with technology".
LOL

P.S. Thanks a lot! I really appreciate the help!
