I Thought HTML Shrinker was Abandonware

Post by Downstrike »

After installing HTML Shrinker 1.05, the Look for New Version function quit working, I never could get the site at http://pico.i-us.com/ to come up after that, and the email bounced. I did web searches for HTML Shrinker and found nothing but web pages with broken links on them, just like mine. (Http://pico.i-us.com/ started showing up in Google again, but I still can't get the web site to come up.) I eventually removed most of the links, because search engines penalize broken links.

This time around, I didn't even try to search for HTML Shrinker, but looked for Harald Heim instead. Well, it seems that, rather than dropping off the face of the earth, you've been rather busy the past five years. I just can't figure why it was kept such a secret from me.

pico.i-us.com was redirected to www.thepluginsite.com until July 2001. After that it was deactivated. It was just a sub domain and we didn't own the domain, so there was nothing we could do.

As you probably already noticed, you can get Version 2.60 of HTML Shrinker at http://thepluginsite.com/products/htmlshrinker/

I don't understand why you didn't find it sooner. If you enter "HTML Shrinker" in Google you get www.htmlshrinker.com on place 1 and www.thepluginsite.com on place 2.

It is baffling. However, I'm glad to be mistaken about the Abandonware issue.
