No, that doesn't sound normal! I've had a few digital cameras since 2000 (including a Kodak, Minolta and Sony) and none did this. You mentioned all of your cameras have done this – I would look at the type of batteries you are using. I'm curious if you've used the same brand in all cameras. Are they...

Considering your Flaming Pear support issues (which are legendary; do a search here on the forum), you might consider using Path Styler Pro instead (for both Photoshop and Illustrator).

The developer said this: "Our next step will be "Topaz Fusion", which will add 3rd parties plug-ins support in Aperture/Lightroom, plug-in "stacking", and stack presets, among others. We are actively seeking ideas from our user community right now on: 1) what 3rd party plug-ins should be in our prio...

Aperture users: Run Topaz plug-ins for free

If you use Apple's Aperture and own any or all of the Topaz plug-ins, you can use their new FREE Fusion Express to launch the plug-ins without needing Photoshop as a host.

If you don't own the plug-ins, there is a 30-day trial period for them.

Adobe CS4 Error 150:30 (license error) – solution

This one bit me today unexpectedly. It's the show-stopping "Licensing for this product has stopped working" dialog in Photoshop CS4, and it seems to affect both Windows and Mac (mine was on Mac) I found a solution which does not involve dealing with Adobe's tech support (!). Download Adobe’s Licensi...

Or if this is simply a data DVD (as opposed to a slide show with a VIDEO_TS folder), basic drag-and-drop to your hard drive should work.

Sounds like Windows ("E drive"). Yes, Google or visit www.versiontracker.com and search for DVD copying apps.

If you have a friend with a Mac this will be easy ;-). Use Disk Utility, Toast, SimplyBurns, etc.

Thanks Harald

This is a good time to thank Harald for his efforts in regards to the newsletter. I try to keep up with plug-in news from a variety of sources myself, but his newsletter always tells me something new! So if you don't already subscribe, chances are you're missing out on some good info.

Issue #12 of my free ezine focuses on genealogy software tools, including those specifically designed for managing images.

Take special note of Timeline and Timeline 3D (which can export the project as movies).
