You can use the Move tool to move the image and make the parts at the top appear again. The image is rotated in 3D, so it is normal that parts at the top or bottom vanish. Perspective Crop maps the first warp grid onto the second warp grid. It is not just a perspective correction.

Ok, you mean Perspective Warp. Actually the transparent areas always occur with this feature. You have to manually crop the image yourself afterwards. Or alternatively use the Perspective Crop feature.

This problem only appeared under Win Vista and 7 and is now fixed in ElementsXXL 3.51.

The problem was fixed now. The crash of the Curves dialog was caused by an activated "Non-linear history" check box in the ElementsXXL Preferences. The bug fix will be available in the upcoming ElementsXXL 3.51. I already sent you a fixed version via email.

Thanks for sending the PSD file. I see the problem. One of the layers is a smart object. The Auto-Align and Auto-Blend features only work with pixel layers. So please select the smart object layer and choose Layer > Simplify Layer to turn it into a normal layer.

You probably also have ElementsXXL installed. So by disabling LayersXXL you make the identical Auto-Align and Auto-Blend features of ElementsXXL active. But as the code of both features is identical in ElementsXXL and LayersXXL I am surprised that it should work with one or the other.

I tried it with two selected layers here in PSE 13 and it works without a problem. Can you please send me a PSD file with the two layers that you are using? Maybe I can reproduce the problem with it.

So it seems that the fully transparent areas of the window get no mouse input. I only experienced this under XP so far. Maybe it has to do with your AMD graphics card. It works here with a Nvidia card. I will try to come up with a work around.

You probably mean the Split Layer feature. At the moment it only splits RGB to "L" and "ab" and not L, a and b. That will very likely be possible in ElementsXXL 4.

Does clicking on the green check mark or red cross work? Does the it exit the feature? Does the Esc key exit it?
