"Memory access violation!" when opening DNG files
I tried to develop RAW negatives in BW Styler and Colour Styler (Standalones). I tried to open DNGs created by carphones Huawei P20 and P20Pro (April 2018). Both BW Stlyer and Colour Styler have not opened these DNGs, saying "Memory access violation!". The DNGs are here: https://we.tl/fvgAqPL3m8 (17...

Harry Photo Editor (the possible future of PhotoWiz)
Is there a sense to start a new project called, I say, "Harry Photo Editor" or "PhotoWiz Editor"? I mean a competition to OpticsPro and others. See the project picture below. There are many advantages and one drawback as below. 1. The drawback: The current price for all photo-editors is low. So the ...

Photoshop CS2 Compatibility
Will PhotoWiz 2017 Plugin be compatible with such old versions of Photoshop as CS2? I am curious because the following obvious reason. I work with Photoshop CS6; it goes fast on my 8Gb RAM laptop. Just because CS6 needs 1Gb RAM. But it will expectedly be striking on a planschet: most modern (non-ex...

Improving preview images in the PhotoWiz applications
Dear all, I use the PhotoWiiz applications over many years, with high order of satisfaction.... except of just one -- the preview images. Namely, --- when we open and edit a picture in any PhoroWiz application, the picture looks non smooth. In both the plugin and standalone version of PhotoWiz. In m...

Photoshop CS2 for free to everyone (a gift from Adobe)
Dear PluginSite users, We all can now get a free host for The PluginSite plugins thank to Adobe Corporation (that seems to be very strange, in the case of Adobe). Adobe Corp. has decided to put all of this onto public web pages which makes Photoshop CS2, and all other apps of Creative Suite 2, avail...

Re: Trying to process a scanned film...
I think the effect you are seeing in Lightroom with your film presets is produced by other effects and not by the eight sliders of the HSL/Color/B&W group, which correspond to the BW Film options in BWStyler. If you choose a film preset from the Film Grain and Development preset groups in BWStyler ...

Re: Trying to process a scanned film...
If you let me know exactly which effects of BWStyler do not work and which effects work in Lightroom, I can better explain why. 1. I tell only about "BW Film" option which is the upper option in Photography Mode or in the menu Preset. When opening a scanned (greyscale) source, setting up a film doe...

Trying to process a scanned film...
Once I decided to try large format (flat film) photography, I tried to process a scanned TIF file with BWStyler. I found that most options required for HQ development works properly. However the film presets do not make any effect. They remain indifferent to the scanned (greyscale) image. I guess th...

BW Styler and file MSVCP110.dll
Once upon a time I was so hurry that clicked on BWStyler buttons before it finally started as the Photoshop plugin. As a result, I crashed the work of BWStyler. OK. Nothing changed. I closed Photoshop CS6. But once I tried to start Photoshop again, it claimed that... there is not the file MSVCP110.d...

Re: Curve appears over the sliders
A fixed version is now online. I sent you the download instruction via email. Thanks again! Thank you very much. So, the plugin version has been fixed. But the same same bug is as well observed in the standalone version of ColourStyler. I use the standalones of PhotoWiz often, when disilke to start...

Curve appears over the sliders
The latest version of ColourStyler. When I work in Photography mode, and click on "more" in order to go to Advanced Mode, the square window containing tone curve appears over the sliders of Advanced Mode. The square window covers the upper sliders so that I cannot operate them. Only if, in this stat...

Re: ADOBE SUBSCRIPTIONS
When Photoshop CC was issued, I also received an advertisement (as a Photoshop owner). BW Styler 2: the new generation software
I just downloaded BW Styler 2, and started the testing of it. Now, just a few word on. At first glance, this is a completely new generation of the software, because so many principal changes. Three amazing changes go to the eyes immediately: 1. The new GUI. -- It allows do not "keep in mind" the eff...

Re: Tinting fade colour photographs
BWStyler 2 will soon be released... Good news for all the users! Concerning the problem I pointed out it is as in the sample: http://i068.radikal.ru/1307/b8/194af629e433.jpg Right image is a fade colour source photograph (made from a full colour image with ColourStyler). Then I tint it with platinu...

Tinting fade colour photographs
In some cases, we need to make a tinted fade color photograph. Not the BW tinted photographs, wherein all colours are completely vanished before we colour it into a basic tone (sepia, platinum, silver, etc.). But initially full-colour photographs which we made to be fade colour with a preset (preset...

I will analyse my long exposure presets to make three (light, medium, strong) for long exposure noise removal. I then will send the presets to you (may be next week).

Long exposure noise reduction
Noise Control currently contains the presets for noise removal which are ranged according to the ISO sensitivity of the matrix. That's right. DSRL presets (large matrix) cover the range of ISO from 200 to 102,000. However when making a shoot with a long exposure, the digital noise (both regular and ...

Re: Newbie Request for Suggestions
Therein are a number of Photoshop Actions and Lightroom Presets that fix most of the gaps in the scanned old photographs. These are the kits of the "complete solutions" for each of the different types of the gaps. I do not remember now Photoshop Actions (but they exist, surely). I may suggest Lightr...

Re: New suggestions to PhotoWiz Plugins
Add-on. What presets people like to have? On my observation. They like not mere separate film, grain, and others, but something alike "designer presets" which join a particular film, a particular vignette, a development scheme (a particular set of diffusion, ND filter, highlight glow, etc.), a contr...

New suggestions to PhotoWiz Plugins
I would like to create a new theme in the Forum, where the users could post their suggestions how to make the PhotoWiz Applications better, in the further versions. To start this movement, I make this post within "PhotoWiz General". My suggestion now concerns BW Styler and Contrast Master. When work...
