Re: Paint Shop Pro 9 suddenly not working in Windows 10
For the last year or so, it is usually the Intel Graghic Driver update that breaks PSP9. The newer Intel drivers do not support such an old program. If you have Intel graphics, then you would probably need to roll back to an old driver that worked with PSP9, but you may have issues with other progra...

Re: Paint Shop Pro 9 suddenly not working in Windows 10
I've helped a few people recently with the issue of PSP9 and PSPX either not installing or not working. I suggested they roll back their graphics driver to an older version as Intel had updated their driver earlier in the year. This worked for them, and they were able to get the programs installed a...

Re: Photoshop Cs6 & Filters Unlimited 2.0
I just went and checked in CS6, 32 bit, Harald, and it definitely works fine for me. I have Filters Unlimited 2 and it is in my PSP Plugin folder. I get PS to look inside that folder for certain Plugins. I've had PS and FU on my system since Win 8 and they have been through every Windows upgrade sin...

Re: Photoshop Cs6 & Filters Unlimited 2.0
FU2 works fine for me in CS6 32 bit. In the Filter list it shows up under <I.C.NET Software>. It is not under the letter I for me, but starts with < in the list. It shows in the PSP filter list in the same way on all my computers.

Re: Filters Unlimited Plugin
For some reason the Import does not work for everyone in Filters Unlimited. I've never had that problem, no matter what OS it is installed in. The original fix page on the I C Net site is still available via an Archive site. The link below should take you directly to that old page. It contains a lin...

Re: PSP thumbnails in Windows 10
I found a few years ago that Bot Thumbnail Handler was not always successful for all PSP file types. I moved onto Mystic Thumbs, a retail program. It is excellent and it includes all the psp file types, adobe file types and many other files. It works perfectly and also has other good options. The th...

Re: WINDOWS 10
According to what I have been told by other users, all the old PSP versions, from PSP7 upwards, work in Win 10. I can't confirm for versions older than 7. I have X, X7 and X8 and none have issues on Win 10. Animation Shop also works fine for me.

Re: plugin problems AGAIN
Most of the filters you mentioned can be imported into Filters Unlimited and then they work in PS 32 bit. Of the ones you mention, I have Simple [ except for qtile which isn't compatible] , Video Rave, Unplugged Effects, Unplugged Shapes in Filters Unlimited. If the filter size is 56 kb then it will...

Re: Plugins Making Me Crazy!
That's correct. That's the default setting. I've never had to alter it and have no DEP issues with any filters in PSP up to X6.HaraldHeim wrote:Then your DEP setting was probably already set to system programs only.

Re: Plugins Making Me Crazy!
DEP is not supported by some older CPUs. So it could be that you are still using an old computer and do not need to switch off DEP. No, I don't think so. My computer is only 18 months old and is up todate with all drivers and windows updates. I have an Intel i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz and filters worke...

Re: Plugins Making Me Crazy!
Harald, I have Win 8.1 with all Updates and my system is only 18 months old and as mentioned I have never had to turn DEP off for PSP, with any version up to version X6. I don't have X7 installed. I have 1,000's of FF and FM filters and they work fine for me. I added the 1 required dll file for FF f...

Re: HELP regards Filters Unlimited 2
As it happens I installed the trial yesterday Harald after reading the newsletter. I tested it in PS 64 and 32 bit and in PSPX6 32 bit and I also imported some ffx files in the testing. It worked fine. I've never bothered to install PSPX6 64 bit so couldn't check that one. Although it is not support...

Re: Plugins Making Me Crazy!
I never turn off DEP for PSP and there are only 1 or 2 old filters I cannot get to work in X6 or the later versions of PSP but they are not related to DEP. From what I've seen, usually the ones causing the DEP issue are those that can be patched with the FMPatcher. Once they are patched they work fi...

Re: HELP regards Filters Unlimited 2
The old site can be found on the Internet Archive WayBack Machine website. http://archive.org/web/ I had a look and it was possible to bring up the fix for importing filters. I found after unpacking Filters Unlimited years ago I never had to reinstall when moving to another machine. I just copied ov...

Re: Mura Meister Copies
Mura filters work for me in PSPX6 on Win 8.1 64 bit. The Mura Meister set are the ones that need patching. Once they are patched they will work. Place the patched files into your normal PSP Plugin Folder or wherever you want to store them, making sure that PSP can find them.

Re: Mezzoforce Ice Lite 2
That is correct Harald. Manek set up a new website at the end of 2010 and had newer versions of Ice 2 Lite and Metalleaser 2 Lite available for download. That enabled me to grab them again as my old ones had timed out. But sometime last year the new site also stopped operating and I've since found o...

Re: Super Blade Pro presets HELP!! IM DEVESTATED!
If you open in Notepad you will be able to see what files were used but the rest won't make sense. But as Harald says, why don't you open in SBP, unless of course you meant by corrupted that they won't open anymore. If they are old presets they may appear different then what they used to with the ne...

Re: Windows 7 64bit & Pro X4 Ultimate
I still store my Plugins in the original my PSP Files Plugin Folder that was set up with one of the early versions. I just direct each new version to look there for the filters. And when installing Win7 I still continued to access those same folders. I have X, X3 and X4 installed and for each one I ...

Re: More probs with Windows 7 and PSPX3 filters
I have Win7 64bit plus PSPX3 and PSPX4 and can confirm all my filters do work correctly once I sorted through the issues. All the ones you mention have no problems. If you are a PSP user you may have followed the advice users are getting that Win7 requires 10 dll files to be added into the System Fo...
