I'm looking for Crackle effect plugins, Any suggestion beside the expensive one by Auto-fx - please help

Xenofex from www.alienskin.com has Crumple, Distress and Shatter, but none of them do quite as nice a crackle effect as the Auto F/X filter.

i think the best filter for a crackle effect in xenofex is 'baked earth'
gives a dry riverbed type effect that can look very much like crackle if you make the crackles small enough, even looks like leather if you make it small enough
