I like to edit racing game images. Id love to be able to have a sort of realistic rain filter

I have used the tutorial here http://forums.gfxvoid.com/t-1485.htm

But I would like to add puddles to the race track and rain spray that looks real

Is there any filters around or can anyone give me tips on how to do this sort of stuff please?

I did not edit this. Originally, there was no rain or puddles or spray in the shot...

I am fairly new with PSP but have a few tutorials that give a rain effect - I must admit that I haven't used any of them and they may not be what you are looking for at all but thought I'd give you some sort of reply anyway.

Have you tried Ulead's free particles plugin? Rain is one of the effects. It's got a fair number of controls to it. You'll need to sign up to download things, but it's free to do so.
