Could you please provide me with some info? I am fairly new to plugins. Some, I can get installed in a zip, others, I absolutely cannot install, PERIOD! I am trying to install "Harry's Filters 3", with no luck whatsoever!

Here are the steps I am taking. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.
I am using Paint Shop Pro 8.

1) I download "Harry's Filters 3" to 'my documents' using the 'save' option.
2) I go to my 'plugins' folder, and I create a sub-folder for "Harry's
Filters".
3) I go back to 'my documents' and extract "Harry's Filters 3" to the newly
created sub-folder.
4) I go to PSP 8 > File > Preferences > File Locations, click on Plugins >
Add > Browse.
5) I browse to the folder that I created for, and extracted "Harry's Filters
3" into, click on it, click OK, then OK 2 times more.
6) I then close out PSP 8, open it back up, load a graphic, go to Effecte >
Plugins, and NO HARRY'S FILTERS!!

This is the way I have been told by others who have the filters installed, so what am I doing wrong that I can't get them installed!!

You need to change Step 3 to

3) I extract "Harry's Filters 3" to my desktop (or some other place on my hard drive). I double click the extracted .exe file. During installation I choose the "Harry's Filters" sub folder in "My Documents".

I hope that helps.
