I am very intrigued by the idea of distributing lossless compressed files. However, I understand that not all applications might display this format correctly. The last message on this topic I found in this forum dates from mid-2003. So, has anything changed since? Do current versions of web browsers show the JP2 files correctly?
Regards,

I don't think there are any news regarding this format. I checked it some time ago and the site hadn't been updated in quite some time. I can't see a reason for not finally launching this format
Meanwhile I've been using PNG instead of JPG. Although it does have a relatively large size depending on what you use it for it is supported by many browsers (except for the alpha transparency in IE, although who needs IE when there's Firefox? ) and graphic programs.

hi all
Saw you guys talking about firefox before.
learn more about firefox trend(s)
This is really interesting, looks like a graph over time of the number of times " firefox " has been mentioned, it does this by graphing the results in google yahoo etc, very interesting, you can see just how popular firefox is becoming
