I am looking for a filter or plugin that can be used to create random space junk in a sci-fi picture. I am particularly looking for asteroids and planetoids.

I have the Universe plugins by Diard Software, but they don't have a filter that adds enough craters to make an acceptable asteroid, or enough randomly determinable calculatiions to make enough random planets.

Is there filter/plugin that can make good looking space junk?

Please help...

These two sites may be of interest.

http://www.nbos.com/products/astro/astro.htm is a new star mapping program. I haven't purchased it yet so can't tell you the size, quality and rendering options but if you are into sci-fi you might send them an email or ask about a demo.

Another site to trawl is the very cool http://www.astrotips.com This is an amateur astronomer site so some of the stuff is specialized beyond general ineterest but I've found interesting software items in their link section including some 3D space simulators which you may find useful.

Sorry if this was OT. I came to the topic via a newsletter link and didn't realize it was specifically Photoshop plugins.
