| I have been searching for a plug for Adobe PS, PSP, or Corel that would help me create a rippling water effect in a photo. I have seen pictures that have a smimmering water in them but i have no idea as to how to go about creating something like this.... Whether it is a paid for plug in or a free one does not matter as long as it REALLY works. Any suggestions ? |

I use PSP7 and was searching for tutorials and came accross a plugin that does exactly what you are looking for. The plug in is in french, but it easy to do. Go to this site and you can download it. Let me know if it worked. Silvia

I have a couple tutorials written for water effects in the animation folder in the files section.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wittyminituts/
Animated water effects are always very popular. I understand your interest.
For Water fall effects EC Jiggle is really kewl after you select the area
that you want to animate.. of course you make 3 frames and watch the
preview frame to see how the change is going to appear for each frame that you make.
For bodies of water, select the appropriate area with your wand or other selection tool and in PSP..I use 8 now, use the Distortion effect Wave.
Adjust the wave length by 2 for each of 3 frames.Comes with psp! no special filters needed.
Big ol' hugs on the neck!
