Can't run FocalBlade in Batch in Photoshop CS2

Post by Steve Ferguson »

I can't use FocalBlade 1.04 in a CS2 action. I always have to hit "OK" to get FocalBlade to proceed. Is there any way to get FocalBlade to work in an action?

Thanks

Please read the Cloak Mode chapter in the manual.

hopefully if I hit ok it will still work

I have another post on this subject, but what I would like to do is have it where I just hit an assigned function key to perform an action set up for various sharpening situations. This way I can quickly go through individual files and apply the appropriate sharpening. If I have to hit ok then this will still work, although it slows things down some because of an extra step.

From what I read the cloak mode is good if I want to apply same settings to all photos in a folder.

Yes, you can't store the sharpening settings of FocalBlade in the actions themselves. You need to save these settings as presets in FocalBlade and open them again when you need it.

A future version of FocalBlade will support saving the parameters directly in actions.
