i want to inform you, that there is a new comparison of different approaches to do focus stacking with different software tools.
The combination of LayerXXL + Photosho was also tested there, it works very well.

Thanks for the review! However, there are a two mistakes in your review:
1. It is possible to fill transparent areas with a content-aware in Photoshop Elements 13 and higher. See Remove Transparency under http://www.thepluginsite.com/products/l ... gemenu.htm
2. There is a one-step menu item for focus stacking under Image > Tasks > Depth of Field Increase. The Content-Aware Remove Transparency option is included here.See http://www.thepluginsite.com/products/l ... ermenu.htm
It would be great if you could correct these two points in your review.
