Rotate view tool in PSE possible?

When doing retouching with a Wacom tablet it would be advantageous if we could rotate the photo while doing e.g. dodging and burning or cloning. Is there any trick that we could get it working in Elements like in full PS http://www.photoshopforphotographers.co ... _tool.html? The Rotate layer command has to be committed before I can activate the Brush, the same with Free Transform. Theoretically you could make the layer into a smart object, do the free rotation, do the D&B and undo the free rotation, but that's a tedious way. So is it possible to get it working in PSE without breaking the code?

While I'm at it: would it be possible to make the Channels window dockable?

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately the Rotate View tool of Photoshop is not available in Photoshop Elements.

It would be possible to add such a Rotate View mode, which you would have to deactivate again when you are finished. ElementsXXL would then rotate the image back, extract the newly added pixels and add them to the previously unrotated image. So the changed pixels would be "degraded" by the backward rotation, but the rest of the image would be untouched. Not sure if that is something you want.

It would be possible to make the Channels panel dockable (as it can already be done with the ActionsXXL panel), but it would have to replace an existing panel, e.g. the Color Swatches, Styles, Graphics or Filters panel or another panel that you do not need.
