Can we have a function for vertical panoramas as well as horizontal panoramas?

I never tried vertical panoramas, but I think they should be stitched together fine in LayersXXL. The Auto-Align feature should automatically detect that the panorama is vertical and position the images correctly.
Or did you experience a problem?

It wanted to stitch the images horizontally. I suppose a 'workaround' would be to rotate each image through 90deg.

Had the opportunity to try the 'work-around'
Yes it works
BUT......
if you 'remove transparency' the image is cropped automatically to the size of one of the input images.

Sometimes Remove Transparency does not detect the shape of the images correctly and crops away too much. In such a case undo it and crop manually. Remove Transparency will be improved in future updates.
