What is the best workflow to use if you develop your images in Lightroom then sent the file to Elements, use some ElementsXXL functions, especially the Render functions. Does Lightroom recognize the render changes you made to the image when you return to Lightroom?

Re: Elements XXL and Lightroom
It is usually best to apply all adjustments in Lightroom before you export the image to Photoshop Elements. You have to make sure that Lightroom sends a 16-bit TIFF or PSD file to Photoshop Elements.
The Render features of ElementsXXL let you use certain functions while retaining the 16-bit depth of the image. ElementsXXL also offers other 16-bit features that allow you to stay in 16-bit mode. This way the image is saved as a 16-bit TIFF or PSD file before returning back to Lightroom. Without ElementsXXL you may need to convert the image to 8-bit depth in order to use certain features in Photoshop Elements.
