Premier Pro plugin compatibility

Some of my Premier Plugins for older Premier versions don't seem to work with Premier Pro. I get an error message each time I place them in the plugins folder. Is there any ay I can get these plugins to work with Premier Pro?

I heard, too, that several Premiere plugins don't work with Premiere Pro. Seems that After Effect plugins have less problems working in Premiere Pro.

I fear there is nothing you can do. Adobe didn't make sure that Premiere Pro was kept fully compatible for whatever reason.

Could be simple installation issue...
My Plugin Galaxy which had worked okay in Premiere 6 didn't show up in Premiere Pro. So I looked through the file structure and found the directory where all the existing (working) plugins for Premiere Pro were (.../Plug-ns/en_US/AEFilters). I simply copied the Plugin Galaxy files (.aex files) to that directory and all seems fine now.
