I don't understand how but I can't import any file other than PDF ande Epson twain.. I believe I am missing plugins? where to find them? Thanks, F.

I don't know a graphics application that doesn't support BMP and JPG files by default. So you don't need any format plugins to use these image types.

But maybe your Photoshop installation wasn't complete and the BMP format plugin wasn't installed. Or maybe you changed Photoshop's plugin path setting or accidentally renamed its Plug-ins folder.

You need to use File>>Open, and not the 'import' menu.
