how to develop a plugin for adobe photoshop??

Hi,
I want to develop a plugin for adobe photoshop..I have absolutely no idea about it..can anyone suggest me the languages and other essentials or can show me some pointers or tutorials where i can find some study material over adobe plugins..I need it urgently??

I think you have to start as I did (till now):
general : http://thepluginsite.com
download Plugin Commander Light , its tutorial and some simple FF examples, to play with.
After this, go to FilterMeister.
If for the moment it is something about one afternoon of work, maybe I could help you.
