Fujix pictography 3000 export plugin - help

Trying to get photoshop to talk to my Fujix pictography 3000 printer.
specs:
os - win xp pro
scsi - tekram DC-315U
photoshop 5
PG 3000 export module installed in photoshop
problem is when I try to export, i get "Cant find PICTOGRAPHY"
my guess is the plugin is designed for Adaptec 2940 scsi and there may be some differences with the DC-315U.
Does anyone know if there are any other PG 3000 plugins designed for other scsi controllers?
