Hi

I've been using PSP for some years now, transferring my PSP 6 along as I upgraded computers, as well as my favorite plug-ins with no problems from a Win95 to a Win98 PC.

Unfortunately, for some reason since I've migrated to a WinXP PC, while it works overall, the Paint Engine from Fantastic Machines will not load any of my old presets or save any new ones. I've placed the fmachines.ini file in both System and System32 folders or either of them, with no result.

Has someone met the same problem and solved it ?

You've got the wrong folders there.
The file should be in C:\Windows.

Oops, forgot to mention it but I put it there too, with no result

Try putting it in only one folder (in this case, the Windows folder).
Also, if you open this file, i.e. in Notepad, does it still have the preset settings and stuff?
