When I click on the Photoshop Icon and it starts to open, it gets to "scanning for Plug-ins", and at that point it just stops loading and takes over 30 seconds before it continues. How can I shorten this time or what other possibilities that exist than can be done.

Sounds like a plugin is causing the delay. What exactly does it write on the splash screen? Does it mention a specific plugin? Removing or deactivating that plugin may help.

Maybe you have too many plugins installed. That can slow it down if you don't have a very fast computer and hard drive.
