Hello - I have PSP X2 Ultimate and Vista 64. Even after adding all the dll's to my system32 folder none of the VM plugins are working. Does anyone know if they've been formatted for the 64bit operating system?

Thank You

The dlls need to be placed in the SysWow64 folder and not System32 under 64bit Vista.

Thank You Harald.

Do all 6 of the following go the SysWow64 and am I safe to remove the same ones from the 32 folder I have them in?

icmfilter
Msvcrt10
Msvcrt10.DLX
Msvcrt20
msvcrt40
plugin

Lastly I just read something in a Yahoo group I'm in about the necessity of turning off the Data Execution Protection. Is that anything that I need to address as well?

Thank you again.

I am not sure about icmfilter.dll, but the others are 32bit, so you can move them to SysWow64. Yes, better deactivate DEP for PSP.

Thank you for your help.

What exactly is the DEP and what is it's job? Do you know how to deactivate it, and by doing so how will that effect my computer? Is that something I should reactivate when I'm done with PSP?

Sorry for all the questions - this is all a bit new to me. :-?

Thank you!!!!

See here for deactivating DEP for Vista:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Window ... 11033.mspx

Please add PSP on the DEP exclusion list and keep it there forever otherwise you will experience similar problem in future.

DEP is a security measure that makes sense for applications like Internet Explorer, but not for graphics applications like PSP.
