Help for a newbie pls

I installed Davids Blends filter, I thought I installed it properly in plug in folder (PSP8) and I DO see it listed (effects-plugins) but when I go to use it, I get a message, "may be installed improperly or missing files", concheck.8bf. Its the contrast checkers that I desperately need. I redownloaded it and installed it again, same thing.

What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it?
