this happened to me one a long time ago and I could never fix it. it went away after I reinstalled everything on a new computer.

When I create a new document in photoshop 7 now part of the canvas appears UNDER the main tool palette. its seriously annoying having to move the new document to the right every singe time.



How can I get the new document to snap to the toolbar AUTOMATICALLY (like this):



I'm a newbie, please be gentle...

I noticed this behaviour, too, in Photoshop 7. But it only occurs from time to time on my computer. I don't think there's an option for that, but if anyone has an idea how to fix it, please let us know.
