HELP Harald !!!!!!

Post by eatswood »

dear Harald,

have you received my e.mails of 22/08/2008 explaining in detail my big problems for installing:

- BW Filters, Color Washer and Focal Blade ?

Thank you very well to see again ....

I have yet the three files in my programs, and also in Adobe CS3 Plugins.

Visiting the forum, to day, I selected in DEP:

- BW effects plugin
- Color Correction plugin (Color Washer, I suppose)

BUT I HAVE NOT FOCAL BLADE!

I authorised in desperation plugin installer Tool of FOCAL BLADE...

AFTER VALIDATION IN DEP, restart, CS3 reopened, and always no filter installing.

Can you help me as soon as possible because I turned round, and desperate not to be able to installe correctly this three modules...

Thank you for your precious and fast help.

best regards.

Yes, the french version of Photoshop requires plugins to be installed in the Modules sub folder. Same with other language versions of Photoshop.

Adobe does not make it easy to install plugins to these localized Photoshop versions, because it stores the wrong folder in the registry. The problem occurs for CS2 and CS3. Photoshop CS and older versions store the correct path in the registry.

We will nevertheless try to make future installation of our plugins use the correct path for at least a few common languages. There is no documentation from Adobe that mentions the name of the plugin path of all localized Photoshop versions.
