Hi! I'm new here although I have been reading the newsletter for aeons! <g> and still learning...

I've been looking for an old plugin by ChromaGraphics called 'Chromatica, Magic Mask and Edge Wizard' and saw it listed in one of Harold's newsletters with a comment that Chroma seems to be out of the graphics biz.

I'm impressed with what I've read about it and would love to try it for myself. Does anyone still have this and would you be willing to e-mail me a copy of it to try out?

Thanks kindly in advance for your help and advice, it sure is appreciated! :)

These three plugin are several years old. I think there are other, better plugins available now for what they do. If their software was the best of their kind, they probably wouldn't have closed down their business.

For a better alternative see Mask Pro from www.ononesoftware.com

Thanks!

Appreciate your input, off to check out your recommendation. :)

Part of me like to try and track down the hard-to-find stuff and experiment. Is there such a thing as a computer 'tomboy" ? :lol

Thanks again!

There is also Fluid Mask from http://www.vertustech.com/
I haven't tested it yet, but it looks promising.

Other than that there is a lot of nice masking stuff in Photoshop itself.

Old software and Old PhotoShop

OnOne doesn't seem to support pre-CS versions.
I have the plug-ins that you are looking for but found Corel's software on eBay (Low cost compared to OneOne) and it works better and easier.

However separating the Magic Mask and Edge Wizard has had advantages (rarely).

Thanks,

Don
