I fear that there's no easy way to make a face look realistcially older. It surely means a lot of experimenting and work with different tools and plugins. There was a nice article in a issue of the German "Computer Foto" (www.computerfoto.de) magazine one or two years ago which described different t...

The "Smart Blur" plugin included with After Effects 5 is quite nice to reduce grain. But you have to do some experimenting with the sliders to get a satisfying result. The same plugin is also available in Photoshop. Otherwise try to overlay the grainy layer with a duplicate layer that is partly tran...

The "Selective Blur" plugin from Photoshop is quite nice to reduce grain. However, I don't know if it will work in After Effects.

Otherwise try a slight Blur or Median effects followed by a Unsharp Mask.

You have to install Plugin Commander to "Programm Files", because it is a standalone application and not a plugin.

Poll: How do you like the new forum?

I've updated the forum software from version 1.4.1 to 2.0.0. How do you like the new look and the new features?

Hi Sally,

I didn't use this plugin for a long time. It was probably just tested with Photoshop when it was created.

What is the odd behaviour you are refering to exactly?

Hi,

You right. I still have to do some promotion for this board to get it going. I opened it not long ago.

Plugin Commander Pro lets you batch apply plugins (but currently only of the Filter Factory type) to a series of images. However, there is no command line support to do that, but maybe we will add that to the next version. We will surely highly improve the Batch feature in the next version of Plugin...

Thanks for your advice and your help! I just posted a message to the PSPUG forum. To my suprise there was also a message at themuckyduck.com about this forum.

I will try to get links to this forum from some web sites. This should increase the number of visitors.

PP 10 should work with most Photoshop-compatible plugins, so just download them and try. PP 8 is not so compatible and has many problems and PP 7 is even worse.
