I test for Corel PSP and maybe that makes me notice the word Adobe more.. yes, I know, I am biased

Not since 2004! Corel bought it (some money and shares were exchanged). It's now known as Corel PaintShop Pro. You are 11 years out of date. Latest available version is X7 and doing a good job. I am sorry you feel it is unfortunate that you have to (?) use PSPX6. I selected not to install the 64-bit version of X6 as there aren't many plugins written for 64-bit systems. I only use the 32-bit version and everything works well. To make the plugins work in PSP: File>Preferences>File Locations....
