It does not matter where the plugin are installed as long as they are available in Photoshop. It takes several seconds for the panel to show up, because it scans all plugins of Photosho Maybe you still have the old version installed. there is a script in a set called "Dr Browns installer" that I downloaded from one of the free sites that does all you want you download and install as per directions and they all appear under scripts on the file menu. Unfortunately I cannot remember the site I got it from
